Work with Age Connects Neath Port Talbot

Energy Efficiency Officer - Warm, Safe and Connected

Main Purpose:

This role will support older and vulnerable residents who are experiencing fuel poverty, rising energy costs and wider cost of living challenges. The postholder will provide practical energy advice, information and support to help people stay warm, safe and independent in their own homes.

Working as part of Age Connects Neath Port Talbot's Warm, Safe and Connected programme, the Energy Advice Officer will deliver one-to-one support through home visits, telephone appointments, community outreach activities and partnership working. The role will help residents to improve energy efficiency, reduce household costs, maximise income, access grants and support schemes and increase their confidence in managing energy-related issues.

We are looking for a compassionate, motivated and proactive individual who can deliver high-quality advice services, build strong relationships with service users and partner organisations, promote the project within local communities and contribute towards achieving project targets and outcomes. Whilst energy advice experience would be advantageous, full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
